Speaker for the Democrat Club of Christian County meeting on Tuesday, January 19, is Lucas Kunce, Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate. Kunce is running to unseat and replace Republican Roy Blunt.
Kunce is a Marine Corps Officer who served 13 years on active duty and is now a member of the Marine Corp Reserves. He is a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and worked as an International Negotiations Officer on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. He is now the Director of National Security Policy at the American Economic Liberties Project.
Kunce is a graduate of Yale University, the University of Missouri Law School, and Columbia Law School. He originally hails from Jefferson City.
