In July, the Democratic Party will come together to formally nominate the next president and vice president of the United States at our 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The four-day convention, held August 17-20 (rescheduled from July 13-16), is also an opportunity to show the American people what we stand for as a party, unite around our shared values, and showcase everything Milwaukee has to offer. In addition to fulfilling their nominating duties, Democratic Party members from across the country will also work together to write and adopt the official 2020 Democratic Party platform.
